*Dear Amir, hi!!How are you?Could you kindly release this news for the CA
colleagues, please? It is with great pride and honor and more than
opportunely today, at the National Meeting of No-Tillage taking place in
Colonia Friesland in Paraguay with the theme "50 years of No-Tillage in
Latin America, the path to sustainable food production", we officially
launched the English e-book version of Herbert Bartz biography: THE LEGACY
OF HERBERT BARTZ: THE NO-TILLAGE SYSTEM PIONEER.The e-book is available for
purchase on amazon.com <http://amazon.com>.Because it is necessary to
record and disseminate legendary stories, such as that of Herbert Bartz,
filled with a lot of stubbornness, insistence and courage to do better
agriculture, for the love and care of the soil heritage through the
No-Tillage System facing an entire conventional system and fighting for a
change of thoughts and paradigms. This work is a sequence to the ones we
launched this year with an effort to commemorate 50 years of pioneers of
the No-Tillage System in Latin America.Translation and proofreading was
done by my cousins Heidrun Kronenberg and Lydia Kefford. And the review,
which I followed closely, was also carried out by Don Reicosky, a
distinguished soil scientist and friend of Herbert Bartz. The story of
Herbert Bartz is now of the world!!!I would like to express my heartfelt
gratitude to the 24 sponsoring partners who allowed these works to be
carried out.I am also grateful for the unconditional partnership of the
Brazilian Federation of No-Tillage System and the Museo Regional do Plantio
Direto in Mauá da Serra. In addition, of course, to the author Wilhan
Santin, the diagrammer Ricardo Gogel and the editor Rafael Silvaro of
Editora Madrepérola for their work and especially for their patience with
me and my demands.I remind everyone who is interested in obtaining the
works that all the funds raised will be destined to the Museu Regional do
Plantio Direto for the organization, conservation and availability of all
documentary material and machinery by Herbert Bartz. So you will not only
be acquiring a book to learn about and disseminate a very significant piece
of the history of our Brazilian agriculture, but you will also be helping
to maintain and conserve the historical collection linked to this history.*

*Forte abraço,*

*Marie*
