Dear Subscribers,

Please see below a podcast regarding adding cover crops straight to the
harvester.

This is also being done with broadcasting a follow-up crop immediately as
the previous crop is being harvested, for example, no-till rape seed oil
being broadcast while the no-till wheat crop is being harvested in a
Conservation Agriculture system. Farmer Tony Reynold in Lincolnshire,
England, has been doing this successfully with an autocast attached to the
harvester for many years now.

Apologies for any cross-posting.

Hello Amir,

Cover cropper and no-tiller Jesse Horn decided to try something different
this year for harvest.

Instead of multiple passes, first with a harvester, and then with an air
seeder for cover crops, the Philpot, Ky., producer decided to hook the
seeder straight on to his harvester. He's betting this will lead to fewer
passes and less compaction as he brings in this year's harvest.

On this latest episode of the Cover Crop Strategies Podcast, brought to you
by Source by Sound Agriculture
<https://lessiter.omeclk.com/portal/wts/uemcnc-dyyebaT%5E7czs9-c%5EwDN4b>,
Horn talks about his new approach, and about how expanded from a seed
dealer into a full-service equipment dealer under the brand Big H Ag
Supply, and more.
