===========

The private sector plays a key role in advancing adaptation action. To
better understand engagement of the private sector on adaptation from the
local to the global scale, the United Nations Framework Convention on
Climate Change (UNFCCC) Adaptation Committee is *inviting private sector
companies, organizations and networks, big and small, to complete a quick
survey *of their efforts. The survey contains 12 questions, and takes only
five minutes to complete on-line. The survey is open until 4 August 2017.*
To access the survey, click **here* <https://www.surveymonkey.de/r/F53FHPM>
*.*

I hope those of you representing industry associations will take the time
to complete the survey, and *encourage all of you to forward the survey
link to private sector members of your networks / working groups*. There
is a strong desire to have responses directly from individual companies /
businesses.

The results of this survey will inform future work under the UNFCCC and be
communicated back to businesses, so that the private sector can also begin
identifying how much adaptation action is being taken by participating
businesses.
