*Vacancy: Part-Time Conservation Agriculture Project Manager, DPRK***

Concern Worldwide requires a part-time Conservation Agriculture Project
Manager for the DPRK. The contract will require 6 months work per year,
over 2 years and will be based in Pyongyang, with regular travel to field
sites. The Conservation Agriculture Project Manager will be responsible for
the overall coordination and implementation of the CA project; managing the
relationship with the Academy of Agriculture Science (AAS), the project
partner; M&E and donor reporting requirements and managing the procurement
of equipment and inputs.****

Working with in-country and overseas experts the CA Project Manager will
develop research trials and demonstrations for crop rotations, residue
cover levels, green manures and minimum/zero tillage techniques and
equipment. The CA Project Manager will also support complementary
activities, including  food processing, weather early warning systems,
rainwater harvesting, irrigation and disaster risk reduction measures.   ***
