Subject: Recent publications on socio-economic viability of adoption of the
individual and different combinations of two or three of the CA components
To: Amir Kassam <[log in to unmask]>

Dear Amir: I pray and trust that all is well with you and all your loved
ones.

Below are four articles we recently published based on a large survey of
2296 wheat fields from Morocco. In these papers, we demonstrate that
adoption of the individual and different combinations of two or three of
the CA components leads to higher yield and net margins. With the exception
of few combinations, adoption also leads to lower downside risk and
variability of yield in the drylands.

dissemination of conservation agriculture? Some socioeconomic
justifications from the drylands of Morocco

2) Socio-economic impacts of zero and reduced tillage in
wheat fields of the Moroccan drylands

3) Can Retention of Crop Residues on the Field Be
Justified on Socioeconomic Grounds? A Case Study from the Mixed
Crop-Livestock Production Systems of the Moroccan Drylands

over cereal monocropping in dry areas

We will appreciate it if you can please share it with the community of
practice.

Blessings,

Yigezu
