Subject: Fwd: Invitation Workshop "Soil - An Essential Ressource",
Frauenchiemsee, April 16-17, 2015
Hello.
A subject of interest ?
In the program most topics are more about soil issues as a subject for
their studies, and less about well known measures to protect it. Especially
the solutions promoted by our organizations.
But perhaps some participants may be more ready to cooperate about
solutions ?
Anyway, the fee is low.
If you know more about this, or about any of all the other events which
will be organized using the opportunity of the International Year of the
Soil, please let us know.
Kind regards. Gérard

*The 2 day workshop “Soil – An Essential Resource”* aims at providing a
platform to discuss the challenges, to implement strategies for the
sustainable management and protection of soil resources. Major topics to be
addressed are erosion, land take, climate change and soil management
challenges. These soil threats are recognized and discussed together with
new approaches for managing healthy soils, the relevance of infrastructures
for soil research, and global and regional soil partnerships concepts*. *
The workshop enjoys the collaboration of a number of international experts,
who have been especially invited for it.
As the number of participants is limited, we ask you to register at
www.iesp.de/soil as participation will be on a first come first served
