FAO-Carib-Agri is a service provided by the FAO Sub-Regional Office, Barbados =============================================================================

Dear Members,

From: Anthony Richards [mailto:[log in to unmask]]

Hi folks,

You might have seen the original story on "coconut oil helps in Alzheimer's".

Watch it, again, below, but wait for the two follow-up videos, after this first one comes to an end.

The second says that a formal study on coconut oil is beginning.

The next one (the third) explores the general role inflammation as an agent in heart disease, etc and of omega-3 in the management of inflammation.

Additional news, from Dr Mary http://www.coconutketones.com/

This includes a lab mouse study on ketones from Oxford/NIH/Israel/Korea group reported in 2013.

Regards
Dr Anthony Richards
Consultant in Chemistry, Food & Biotechnology Management
