Dear Colleagues,
We are pleased to invite you to the online consultation on Hunger, Food and Nutrition Security - toward a post-2015 development agenda.
As the target date for the Millennium Development Goals (MDGs) approaches, a number of processes have been put in place to seek inputs which will shape the "Post-2015 Development Agenda<http://www.worldwewant2015.org/>". Consultations are being held across the globe, both within and outside of the United Nations system.
The overall consultation process on the theme "Hunger, Food and Nutrition Security" will take place over five months, between November 2012 and March 2013 and includes this web-based e-consultation. The outcomes of this discussion will feed into a consultation with the stakeholders of the Committee on World Food Security (CFS) and a high level consultation in March 2013, hosted by the Government of Spain.
This e-consultation will be open until 21st December 2012 and we are aiming for the widest possible participation of stakeholders in reviewing challenges and opportunities, priority actions, as well as possible objectives, targets and indicators needed to achieve food and nutrition security, and the eradication of hunger, in a post-2015 world.
Contributions can be posted on the consultation website<http://www.fao.org/fsnforum/post2015/> (www.fao.org/fsnforum/post2015<http://www.fao.org/fsnforum/post2015>) or sent to [log in to unmask]<mailto:[log in to unmask]> and are welcome in English, French, Spanish, Arabic, Russian and Chinese.
Please feel also free to circulate this invitation among your colleagues and networks.
For further information and to propose collective contributions please contact us at [log in to unmask]<mailto:[log in to unmask]>
This is YOUR OPPORTUNITY to contribute to this global debate and we are looking forward to your participation.
Best regards,
The FSN Forum Team
