Dear Dairy team,

Celebrating for the fourth consecutive time the "World Milk Day" on June 4th, the Nutrition Sector of the National Institute of Industrial technology , organized a scientific Conference.

The main topics of the Conference were:  the role of milk in healthy eating  pattern and obesity prevention, the epidemiological situation of sugar consumption in Argentina, the  introduction of the sweetness approach and its perception, all the dissertations with focus on strategies for decreasing or replacing  sugar in dairy products and the development of new ingredients by the industry.   The Conference gathered the participation of  scientists,  dairy industry , professionals and students of nutrition and related careers, health agents, universities and government secretaries of Health and Agro-industry.
