Greetings from India .



Sharing the event details organised by West Assam Milk Producers Cooperative Union Ltd on the occasion of Worl Milk Day celebration on 1st June 2018 at Guwahati .



Purabi Dairy of West Assam Milk Producers’ Cooperative Union Ltd (WAMUL) joined the world, in celebrating World Milk Day with a daylong programme in a befitting way on June 1, 2018.







On the occasion Purabi Dairy taken up mass awareness programme about benefits of drinking processed milk through display of posters & banner, radio FM channel, road show, quizzing, street play at 10 different locations of Guwahati city, etc. A group of officials of Purabi Dairy also visited ‘Amaar Ghor’ – an old age home and participated in an interactive session where benefits of drinking milk were shared. Milk and milk-products have been offered to the elders.



Activities undertaken by WAMUL on this occasion were widely publicised through satellite TV channel and local dailies.
