CALL FOR PAPERS
The 2014  Annual Symposium of The Fisheries Society of the British will take place at the University of in Hull, UK.
The First Call for Papers is now out. You can find all information and the list of keynote speakers on the FSBI conference website http://www.fsbi.org.uk/conference-2014/symposium-theme-2 or http://www2.hull.ac.uk/science/biologicalbiomedicalenvironmen/research-1/hifi/fsbi%20symposium%202014.aspx.

We welcome contributions for oral or poster presentations that address the key themes include:

*        Physiological, cognitive and behavioural determinants of fitness of stocked fish in the wild

*        Ecological and fishery conditions for additive effects of stocking

*        Eco-evolutionary dynamics and impacts of stocking programmes

*        Ecological and genetic impacts of stock enhancement

*        Social and economic dimensions of fish stocking

*        Institutional dimensions and governance of stocking

*        Planning and risk management in stocking and introduction programmes

*        The proceedings will be published in The Journal of Fish Biology.

In addition the European Inland Fisheries and Aquacultuter Advisory Commission (EIFAAC) will run a one-day workshop on Stock Enhancement on Monday 7 July 2014 - more details will be availabl on the symposium websiste in due course.
