To Vaccinate or not to Vaccinate against Rift Valley Fever Virus: the case study of Niger and Mali

::: WEBINAR :::

Monday, 20 February 2017 - 12.00h CET

Dear Colleagues,

Following the RVF outbreaks in Niger, the Crisis Management Center for Animal Health (CMC-AH) deployed a mission to Niger followed by a mission to Mali. Both missions recommended preventive vaccination in at risk areas. Nevertheless, the feasibility of this should be looked carefully and discussed.

 We are inviting you to participate in a webinar / an expert consultation to discuss the topic "to vaccinate or not vaccinate" in Mali and Niger. One of the team members of the CMC mission to Mali will present the pros and cons for vaccination in Mali and the same will present one of the team members to Niger. Following the presentation we will conduct a discussion for max 40 min. I hope you will be able to participate in this important webinar as the conclusions of this will serve us in planning our preparedness activities in these two countries.

Please kindly distribute this invitation to your colleagues who might be interested in attending the webinar.

Since the number of participants is restricted, we would like to ask you for your kind collaboration to please organize, wherever possible, group access to the webinar by office location through just one log-in.
