CODEX COMMITTEE ON CONTAMINANTS IN FOODS

Revised Invitation to participate in Electronic Working Group on Radioactivity in Food and Feed
Attached please find a revised invitation to join the EWG on Radioactivity in Food and Feed. In view of several requests from Member countries and observer organizations which have not yet registered to this EWG, the deadline has been extended as indicated in the attached file.
In addition, it has been brought to the attention of the Codex Secretariat that Codex Contact Points of Member Countries should share this invitation with food safety and radiological/nuclear agencies to ensure coordination between national food safety and radiation safety officers in order to best contribute to the achievements of this EWG.
CCPs are therefore kindly invited to liaise with both agencies when advising on registration to this EWG.

Best Regards
Codex Secretariat
