Dear colleagues,
This email has information on two new releases, which might interest you.

A new article entitled "Feeding strategies to reduce methane and improve livestock productivity" has been posted today on Feedipedia (http://www.feedipedia.org/content/feeding-strategies-reduce-methane-and-improve-livestock-productivity).
Also a number of new feed datasheets have been added in Feedipedia.

Mulberry, moringa and tithonia in animal feed, and other uses. Results from Latin America and the Caribbean
This document is a collaborative product of Instituto de Ciencia Animal, Cuba; FAO office in Cuba; and FAO's Animal Production and Health Division, Rome, Italy.
It collates available information on foliage production and use in different animal production systems in Latin American and the Caribbean countries and make it available to other areas for possible application. This document also presents industrial, food and pharmaceutical applications of different products from the three plants. It is expected that this document will promote wider use of the foliage from these plants as animal feed worldwide
It can be downloaded from: http://www.feedipedia.org/node/23171

Regards,

Harinder Makkar
