Please help us to improve the FAO website
We are conducting an evaluation of our main website www.fao.org<http://www.fao.org> to study how usable it is by our key audiences and stakeholders. We would like to invite you to take part. You do not have to be a regular user of our current website but you should be someone who has reason to need information from FAO to support your own work.
There are three stages:
1. We would like all of you to fill in a very short survey with background questions about you, how you search for information and your personality - this will help us to understand a bit more about you and help us to interpret your responses. To start the activity please go to this link: https://www.surveymonkey.net/s/faoweb-part1
2. There are two different online activities in which we will ask you where you would look to find a number of different pieces of information on our website. Please do at least one of these two (up to you which one) - if you have time and are interested you are welcome to try both:
Navigation only: https://readingroomuk.optimalworkshop.com/treejack/unfao
Full website: http://www.loop11.com/usability-test/22336/introduction/
3. Finally we would like all of you to answer a few last questions on your experience of the FAO website and your thoughts on how it could be improved. You should be taken to this page automatically after finishing either of the above activities - but if you do need, then the link is: https://www.surveymonkey.net/s/faoweb-part2 - note that if you did do both activities above, you only need to fill this bit in once!
If you choose to do just one of the online activities for part 2 it should take you around 20 minutes in total to do all of the parts above, if you choose to do both online activities for part 2 it could take you around 30 minutes in total.
The survey is confidential - we will not identify you personally or the organisation you work for in any of our reports. Your comments, whether positive or negative, are very important to us as we will be able to improve the FAO website so please be open and honest. This is not a test of your own ability - if there are things you cannot find then that is a problem for us to look into and is useful for us to know, so please don't worry if there are things you cannot find, you can always skip the question or take your best guess.
The closing date for this activity is 30th June - we cannot extend this, but can keep you informed of future opportunities should they arise.
If you have any questions please feel free to ask - and thank you in advance if you are able to help us - it will be appreciated. My colleague Anne Aubert is available for any queries. She can be reached by phone (+39-06-57052586) or by e-mail at [log in to unmask]<mailto:[log in to unmask]>.
Best regards,
