Dear all,
In my first message I was trying to explain how we can simulate a recovered animal.
As it is known, animal is called -recovered and protected- 21 days after successful vaccination or recovery from illness.
That animal has enough amount of polyclonal neutralizing antibodies in its blood and also enough amount of PPR specific T and B lymphocyte clone members. (of course also bunch of interleukins and macrophages but because they are not specific to PPR I don't mention them)
I am just trying to say if we can find a way to transfer (transfusion) of these cells and antibodies to PPR infected sick animal, we can get recovered animal immediately instead of waiting 21 days. We kill the virus and prevent spread while saving that animal. (That means cure for an important viral disease and it is huge, because in current term viral diseases are called "not curable"). If we can catch the disease in early stage I really believe this method to be successful.
The way I suggested for that was in vitro production of antibodies and cells. Thats it.
It may take long time to say "We have a product which cures PPR" but if we can say it at last, it will really mean something...
Best wishes
Fatih Barut
