Dear All,

REGARDING TO PPR IN EGYPT 
Identifications and prioritizations of themes  
1.	Training of vet in field and increase awareness for owners 
2.	Improve reporting system of disease and epidemiological data collection sheets to improve understanding of cultural and socio-economic circumstances of goat and sheep owners which will enhance the success of control measures.
3.	Financing (Role of national, international organizations)
4.	Massive vaccination programmers with stages started with high risk areas. 
5.	Strengthen the diagnostic tests  through:
-	Availability of diagnostic kits capable to differentiate between vaccinated and infected animals with PPR. 
-	Isolation of the PPR virus to provide information on lineages circulating in Egypt and matching it with viral lineages.
.
6.	Movements of the infected nomadic grazing sheep and goats flocks should be controlled to prevent the spread of disease and transmission of virus to different localities.
7.	Socio economic justification of PPR progressive control
8.	Communications with all stakeholders national and international  
9.	Strategies for exchanges of technology for the diagnosis and control of PPR: To be developed by a working group of experts
