Dear all,

I have received for free a few copies of the book in reference. If you are interested, please come to my office (C-581) to pick one; if not in Rome, please let us know and we can send it to you. Please, note that they will be distributed on first arrived, first served bases :).

Best,

Daniela

Meet Our Partners

Join the 1st meeting of the FAO Livestock Technical Network series
 Meet Our Partners

Farmageddon - The True Cost of Cheap Meat
Presentation by Philip Lymbery,
CEO of Compassion in World Farming

30th September 2015 * Iran Room (B-116) * h 15.00 (GMT+2)

The presentation is based on a book<http://www.philiplymbery.com/farmageddon-book/>, jointly written by Philip Lymbery and Isabel Oakeshott (Political Editor of the Sunday Times and Panellist at BBC1 Sunday Politics) which documents an investigative journey in several countries around the world. It aims at being a wake-up call to change our current food production and eating practices and attempts to finding a way to a better farming future.

The highly controversial and thought provoking presentation will be followed by an open discussion on the themes treated by the book and we invite you all to join in. Read here some of the book's reviews<http://workspace.fao.org/cop/ftn/lpvs/Highlights/Philip%20Lymbery_Farmageddon/Book%20reviews.pdf>.

Members of the Livestock Network who are not in Rome can follow through webstreaming by linking at:
