New self-learning online course
launched by FAO Latin America and the Caribbean:
Buenas Prácticas de Gestión de Emergencias
en Sanidad Animal (GEMP)

This remote learning opportunity, which is currently available in Spanish with other language versions coming soon, aims to build the capacity of veterinary services and epidemiological surveillance networks to better respond to animal health emergencies.

The content of this course, which was prepared by the FAO Regional Office for Latin America and the Caribbean, the regional e-Learning team, and FAO's Emergency Management Centre for Animal Health (EMC-AH), addresses the general principles, phases and emergency actions of the Good Emergency Management Practice (GEMP) methodology.
