Communication is clearly important to our work, but let’s be honest it is also a frequent cause of frustration. Often an added task, communication can be a burden for so many technical colleagues. Funding is not always available to hire external consultants, and even when it is, we’re not always able to take full advantage of their contributions. Fortunately, there are certain fundamental things we can do to make communication our ally instead of our foe. In the first webinar of our series, we learned some overarching tips that make communicating more efficient, more helpful and more enjoyable.
