Biden listens to indigenous voices at Leaders' Summit on Climate

[cid:image012.jpg@01D76D98.09788970]Tuntiak Katan, from Ecuador, represented the Global Alliance on Territorial Communities when he spoke about nature-based solutions to the climate crisis at President Biden's recent Summit.
"The forests that are the focus of this climate summit are not vast empty spaces. We, indigenous peoples and local communities, occupy those forests, and we are ready to contribute our forests to one of the most important challenges of our era: restoring the Earth," he said.
