Dear Steering Committee Members and Donor Support Group,
I hope everyone is well.
I am forwarding this set of web-links and the announcement below about a set of activities at the Global Landscape Forum in the Forest and Family Farming Families: Living Landscape Lounge pavilion which the Forest and Farm Facility is co-hosting with Tropenbos and Agri-Cultures. If any of you will be there - or know people who might be interested please drop by, or direct colleagues to the pavilion/lounge and participate in events there. FFF Inforgraphics and publications will be on display and our partners will be participating in or helping to host events. FAO Forestry ADG Eduardo Rojas will participate in the "Road to Durban" session (flyer attached), and FFF partners the Alianza Mesoamericana de Pueblos y Bosques will also have a session. If you are able to drop by please introduce yourself to Herman Sevenje (Tropenbos) or Nick Pasiecznik (AgriCultures/Farming Matters) who will be manning the space.
Best to all,
Jeff

Forest and farming families speaking out - Speaking out for forest and farming families
Dear colleagues,
Tropenbos International, the AgriCultures Network and the Forest and Farm Facility are creating a space so voices from the fields and forests can be heard at the Global Landscapes Forum, Lima, Peru, on 6-7th December 2014.
Our pavilion A at the Global Landscapes Forum will be dedicated to hearing from those who live in and live off the land. It is one of seven 'thematic pavilions' in the main exhibition in the Westin Hotel over the whole weekend.
The 'lounge' will be a comfortable and lively area to 'listen to the landscape', but also to meet new friends and old, and air and share your thoughts on the interests and needs of forest and farming families. Come, and listen to one (or more!) of the 'hot topic of the hour' mini debates, give your opinion on the interview sofa, write it on the graffiti wall, leave your vote at the ballot box, pick up some extra reading.
Will you be there? Will you be representing farmers or farm and forest producer organizers, indigenous peoples, women or youth groups? Or do you want to listen what they have to say? Then the Forest and Farming Families Living Landscape Lounge is the place to be. Just drop by. Or if you would like to play a more active role, get in touch and see how.
See the programme including events throughout the two days. The Saturday evening 'share fair' in the exhibition hall will be a special time for sharing and learning. The pavilion organizers will also be launching publications, each full of insights and stories from the landscape.
