                    Dear Members,

1. For those of you who were not able to attend the briefing sessions given by Allianz Worldwide Care over the past few days (which were called, by FAO management, we realise, on very short notice), some of the key messages are as follows.

2. Welcome packages from the new claims processor, Allianz Worldwide Care, are supposed to go out to all, by about mid-December, which will include our new medical cards, and other introductory information, including on the new claims forms, which should be relatively similar to what we have been used to.

3. The mailing address which will be used for these packages will be that used by the Pension Fund, e.g. , for our annual Certificates of Entitlement.

4. If someone is going to be absent from their normal mailing address in mid-December, and want to ensure they receive their new medical card before the end of the year, they should inform the address below as to where their welcome package should be sent :

5. That is also the general mailbox for people to use if they need any additional information required re the change-over from Vanbreda to Allianz.

6. Giorgio Eberle, our General Secretary, has drafted a series of Questions & Answers, which are now being cleared with Social Security and will be circulated as soon as possible. We hope that may be able to go out on or about 24 November.

7. In addition, we continue to press for the general Administration Circular to be sent by the Organizations as soon as possible, so participants have more information. We hope that will be issued before the end of November, following the next meeting of the Joint Advisory Committee on Medical Care.

Regards, from Alan Prien, President, on behalf of your FFOA team
