Dear Members,

Further to Newsflash 66 re Covid-19 testing at FAO we can now announce that a similar testing arrangement has been established at IFAD ( Parking Lot A) as of 11th November. This facility will be open to IFAD retirees.

The testing facility will be managed by staff from Campus Biomedico University Hospital and will offer two types of tests - the quantitative antigen - based test (instead of the qualitative test) and the standard RT-PCR test if needed. In case you need RT- PCR confirmation, staff are able to take a second swab sample to do the RT- PCR for the patient. The facility can handle 15 tests per day.

Testing will be done on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 13:30 to 17:30

If a retiree needs a test - she/he should send an email to [log in to unmask]<mailto:[log in to unmask]> and cc Mr Edgardo Scanu ([log in to unmask]<mailto:[log in to unmask]>) and Ms Magheda ([log in to unmask]<mailto:[log in to unmask]>) to arrange a booking.

Retirees will need i) a valid ID document ii) Codice Fiscale and iii) credit or debit card.
Patients are required to pay upfront for the test with their credit/debit card.
The cost of the quantitative antigen test is Euros 40 and the RT-PCR test will be Euros 85.

WFP is still to advise FFOA if their planned testing facility will be open to WFP retirees. We will inform members should this be the case.

Keep safe and well.
