Dear Mountain Partnership members and friends,

As part of World Water Week 2021, the Forest and Water Programme of the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) is pleased to invite you to a training session on "The forest-water nexus: Creating resilience through capacity development” on Tuesday, 24 August from 17.00 to 18.35 CEST.

The session is co-convened by FAO, Japan’s Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries, the Swedish Forest Agency and the Stockholm International Water Institute. Please find the agenda attached with additional information, including on how to access the event.

If you are interested in the forest-water nexus or in forest and water management, FAO’s Forest and Water Programme is also co-hosting two other events as part of World Water Week 2021. For more information, please visit their events page<http://www.fao.org/in-action/forest-and-water-programme/activities/events/events-detail/en/c/1377030/>.

Please also feel free to circulate this invitation to other colleagues who may be interested.

Best regards,

The Mountain Partnership Secretariat
