A CALL FOR PICTURES

To better reflect the lives of people who reside in mountain areas in our communications materials, the Mountain Partnership Secretariat is building a photographic and video repository. We are especially interested in uplifting, inspirational pictures of people engaged in activities in rural or urban areas that show the social, economic or cultural value of mountains. Mountains or valleys should be visible in the pictures of people who are doing something – working, farming, taking part in a traditional or other activity.

We also would like to have images of wildlife and specific mountain crops and images of mountain cities.

Selected photographs will be used in brochures, publications and on the website, Facebook and other social media channels. They will be stored on the Mountain Partnership Flickr account<http://www.flickr.com/photos/mountainpartnership/sets/>, which is accessible to all members.

The videos will be stored on the Mountain Partnership Youtube channel<http://www.youtube.com/user/MountainPartnershipS/videos> and, if possible, short clips will be created for television channels.

While we cannot offer any compensation for the use of the photographic and video material, we can credit the photographer or videographer. We also ask that you provide the name of the village, town or city and country photographed.

Please send the material by email to [log in to unmask]<mailto:[log in to unmask]>. Should the files be too large for email, please contact with Nasir Hussain (at the same address) to arrange for a wetransfer or to request further assistance in sharing the content. Thank you.
Best regards,
The Mountain Partnership Secretariat
