Mountains and Water – from understanding to action
Join us on International Mountain Day to learn about the opportunities sustainable mountain development (SMD) provides to reverse degradation, and protect water, food, energy and other vital resources for all while improving the social and economic conditions of mountain communities.
Speakers will include:

The event will take place alongside the 20th session of the Conference of Parties (COP) to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) on 11 December 2014 at 13:00-15:00 in the Sipan Room.
