Dear Mountain Partnership members and friends,

The Mountain Partnership and Switzerland with the support and contributions from Nepal, Uganda, IIED and ProSpecieRara will host the in-person side event<https://www.fao.org/plant-treaty/ninth-governing-body/list-side-events-gb9/en/> "Mountain agrobiodiversity: Contribution to the sustainable development of mountain areas - Celebration of the 2022 International Year of Sustainable Mountain Development" on Monday, 19 September at 13.15-14.30 New Delhi time.

This event will be an opportunity to present concrete examples of the contributions of conservation and sustainable use of mountain biodiversity for food and agriculture, for the implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals in mountain areas.
