European Alps

*          Presentation of the Swiss SD Strategy

*          Local implementation of the Swiss SD Strategy in Canton of Valais

By Eric Nanchen, Director Fondation pour le Développement Durable des Régions de Montagne

*          Andean Environmental Strategy

By Maria Teresa Becerra, Environmental Area Coordinator, General Secretariat of the Andean Community of Nations

*          National SD Strategy in Bhutan -

Part B: Challenge session (45 min.)



45 minute "Challenge section" - specific questions on the strategies by three selected repre-sentatives from:

*          Civil Society  - (Possibly representative from the Women's Major Group)

*          Academy  - (Hans Hurni CDE)

*          Private Sector - (To be identified, ev. Swiss RE)



Part C: Open discussion (15 min.)

Interventions from the Public, final discussion and wrap up (30 minutes)
