Dear Members and Friends,

The Mountain Partnership is organizing a one-hour side event about mountains at the 7th World Water Forum in Daegu & Gyeongbuk, Republic of Korea, on Monday 13 April 2015.

The side event, held alongside the world largest forum on global water issues, will provide an opportunity to share and discuss experiences of climate change impacts on water resources in different mountain regions of the world. Furthermore, experts will explore existing and future adaptation options for mountain regions to ensure sustainable supply of water in the face of climate change.

Held every three years, the theme of the 7th World Water Forum is "Water for Our Future". The international conference, which runs from 12 to 17 April, will draw global attention and to promote innovative solutions to address water-related challenges facing humanity.
