Dear Mountain Partnership members and friends,

We take this opportunity to share with you the call for applications for the 2nd International Agrobiodiversity Congress' Agrobiodiversity Innovation Challenge<https://www.eatgrowsave.org/agrobiodiversity-innovation-challenge>.

The Agrobiodiversity Innovation Challenge aims to recognize new products, services and best practices that can support farmers, consumers and food companies to increase production effectiveness, competitiveness and resilience while conserving agrobiodiversity. The challenge will highlight leading innovations that are helping to use, conserve and consume agrobiodiversity in ways that are better for people and for the environment.

Areas of interest include - but are not limited to - food processing, logistics and supply chains, digital technologies and data solutions, financial services, agriculture biotech, circular economy and agricultural recycling, and reducing waste and food loss.

The deadline for submissions is 30 September 2021. Learn more here about the Agrobiodiversity Innovation Challenge<https://www.eatgrowsave.org/agrobiodiversity-innovation-challenge> and the 2nd International Agrobiodiversity Congress<https://www.eatgrowsave.org/>.

In case you missed it, be sure to check out the Mountain Partnership Secretariat's info sheet "Highlighting sustainable food systems in mountains for the UN Food Systems Summit 2021<http://www.fao.org/mountain-partnership/publications/publication-detail/en/c/1397049/>", which highlights the importance of agrobiodiversity in sustainable mountain farming systems.

Best regards,

The Mountain Partnership Secretariat
