Sharing Best Practices and Lessons Learned for Supporting Women’s Land Rights
A Debate on the Gender Evaluation Criteria (GEC)
Dear Members,
From 25 January to 5 February, the Land Portal Foundation will be holding an online debate on the Global Land Tool Network’s Gender Evaluation Criteria (GEC)<http://bit.ly/1nCvgpp>.
The Gender Evaluation Criteria are designed to check whether land tools are gender responsive, and to show how they can be adapted to integrate various dimensions of gender issues. They are a flexible framework comprised of 6 criteria and 22 evaluation questions with possible indicators that can be adapted to a wide range of different situations.
In this online discussion, the Land Portal invites you to share information on best practices and lessons learned for supporting women’s land rights. In addition, it aims at bringing together stakeholders in the land governance community and creating possibilities for synergy.
We would therefore like to invite you to visit the Land Portal's website<http://bit.ly/1nCvgpp> to find out more about this online discussion.
