We are pleased to circulate the background documents for the 2nd meeting of the Working Group on Capacity Building to be held on 19 June 2012 at HSBC Arena, kindly hosted by the Government of Brazil:


*         Activity Group 1 (West African Regional Forums on Sustainable Modern Bioenergy) - Proposal for second activity in fall 2012: ECOWAS-GBEP workshop on Bioenergy Resource Assessment;

*         Activity Group 2 (Raising awareness and sharing of data and experiences from the implementation of the GBEP indicators).

Additional documents relevant for discussion will be circulated at the meeting.

Please also find attached the final agenda of the GBEP Seminar, to be held on 18 June 2012 at Riocentro.
