Subject: Forthcoming GBEP meetings - Rome (FAO Headquarter), 10-14 November 2014 - REVISED AGENDA and BACKGROUND DOCUMENTS - #NRC-GBEP

Dear Partners and Observers,

In view of the GBEP meetings to be held in Rome (10-14 November 2014), we are pleased to circulate an updated draft agenda of the meetings, as well as a proposal for a new Activity Group on "Bioenergy and Water", developed by IEA and IEA Bioenergy, to be discussed during the WGCB.
Additional background documents will be circulated by the end of this week.

Attached you will also find a draft GBEP Report to the G20, to be transmitted to the Australian Presidency before the GBEP meetings (G20 Summit will take place in Brisbane, Australia, on 15-16 November 2014). As such we would like to invite you to let us know if you have specific concerns/suggestions on the text by 4 November 2014. Please consider that this text is mainly based on the GBEP Report to the G20 Summit 2013 (track changes will be useful for you to identify updates with respect to the 2013 version).

We would like to take this opportunity to remind all those who didn't do it yet, to confirm their participation as soon as possible, to allow a smooth organization of the GBEP events.

We look forward to welcoming you all in Rome in a couple of weeks.

Kind regards,

Michela
