Dear Partners and Observers,

Two updates for you attention and action this week:

  1. GBEP Webinar on Biohydrogen
You are invited to register<https://fao.zoom.us/webinar/register/WN_EDLdtaZCTjKEcgaS4kuYZA> for and widely share the GBEP AG4 Webinar on biohydrogen that will be held this Wednesday 18 May at 1400-1515 CEST, entitled 'Biohydrogen for the sustainable energy transition - developments, opportunities and challenges'.
Hydrogen is seen as an attractive fuel option for transport and electricity generation as it is a clean energy carrier that can be produced from multiple sources, including biomass. Hydrogen produced using biological activity is called biohydrogen. This introductory webinar will present the main applications of biohydrogen and its potential contribution to the circular bioeconomy and sustainable energy transition. It will then focus on the some specific pathways for biohydrogen production, and their market potential. The webinar will include a session for questions and discussion with our expert speakers. We hope you will be able to join us.
