Dear Partners and Observers,

You are warmly invited to the upcoming webinar hosted by the GBEP Activity Group 8 on Advanced Liquid Biofuels for net zero transport - from experiences to action.

The webinar will take place on 2 November 2021 at 1400-1500 CET(UTC+1) in the context of UNFCCC COP26, and the roundtable discussion will include representatives from some of the leading companies in the field of advanced biofuels - Lanzatech, Neste, UPM Biofuels and Versalis.

Advanced biofuels are now widely recognized as an integral component in low carbon energy systems; this webinar will showcase experiences from across the world in the development and production of advanced liquid biofuels and will give private sector perspectives on policies for net zero transport targets in light of COP26. The discussion will be moderated by the co-manager of the CEM Biofuture Campaign, Gerard Ostheimer.

More information and agenda available here<http://www.globalbioenergy.org/fileadmin/user_upload/gbep/docs/2021_events/GBEP_Webinar_roundtable_advanced_liquid_biofuels_2Nov2021_agenda.pdf>.
