Dear all,
I would like to announce that we have a new president and vice president in LATINFOODS. Norma Samman from Argentina was elected as president and Johana Ortiz Ulloa from Ecuador as vice president. I would like to sincerely congratulate both for their appointment. LATINFOODS elect their president and vice president every three years. I am very pleased that Norma in addition to organize the 12th International Food Data Conference also will serve as LATINFOODS president. And it is nice to see that the new generation is coming forward to take on the spirit of INFOODS and food composition.

I would like to thank Leticia Núñez for her dedication and work over the last 3 years as LATINFOODS president. It was a pleasure to work with her and the whole LATINFOODS team.

Looking forward to collaborate with LATINFOODS and its members and to continue the great work on food composition started 30 years ago.
