Dear all,
I am a compiler of Japanese food composition tables and now under the
process of revising them.
Several years ago, our experts used “Composition of sugars” published by
Oregon State University (OSU) as a reference to estimate sorbitol in
fruits.
However, OSU’s website of the composition data (
http://food.oregonstate.edu/sugar/com1.html) is no longer available.
My questions are:
Is it still appropriate to use the OSU’s composition of sugars as an
official reference material?
Does anyone know new website or related publication available?
Your help would be greatly appreciated.
