Dear all,
It is time to submit your success stories again. Since the 11th International Food Data Conference, we added a new award.  See http://www.fao.org/infoods/infoods/infoods-awards/en/

The INFOODS Success Story award recognizes significant achievements of individuals or groups in the implementation of food composition activities such as:

*         Significant analytical programs

  *   Significant advocacy
  *   New food composition tables or databases, tools or guidelines
  *   Capacity building and education.
In 2015, on an exceptional basis all submitted success stories received an award due to difficulties to designate one success story per regional data centre.

Please send your success story to me (not to all) with a maximum of 500 words and a photo (obligatory) in the following format:
Situation
Improve evidence basis
Programme implementation
Measurement of Success
Source

Stories not following this format or exceeding 500 words will not be considered. Also those who have submitted a success story last time will not be considered for the same or similar subject. Emphasis will be given on the measure of success. I know that this is difficult at times but let's try.

The awards (one per INFOODS regional data centre) will be announced at the 12th International Food Data Conference in Argentina in October 2017. They will also be published at the INFOODS website.

Please submit your success story to me by 18 April 2017 Rome time.
