Dear all,

It is an honor to announce
, in the World Food Day
that the new version of the Brazilian Food Composition Table (TBCA

version 6.0) is available public website completely re-structured to
present and including new search features.

This activity was coordinated by the Food Research Center
(FoRC/CEPID/FAPESP), University of São Paulo (USP) and the Brazilian
Network of Food Data Systems (BRASILFOODS).

The database was completely reformulated to cover not only foods reported
in food consumption surveys
(TBCA - Nutrient Intake Evaluation, 1,900 foods with 34 components)
but also data on the wide Brazilian food biodiversity
 (TBCA - Brazilian Food Biodiversity)
.

The TBCA version 6.0 is available from www.fcf.usp.br/tbca

Best regards
