WHAT DO YOU KNOW ABOUT THE BUSINESS OF AGRICULTURE <http://eba.worldbank.org/~/media/WBG/AgriBusiness/Documents/Reports/2016/EBA16-Full-Report.pdf> : A TEST !
QUESTIONS:

1) What countries from the NENA region are covered by the World Bank Enabling Business of Agriculture<http://eba.worldbank.org/~/media/WBG/AgriBusiness/Documents/Reports/2016/EBA16-Full-Report.pdf> (check out their website)

2) What are the ranking categories?

3) Will there be other categories added?

4) What is the advantage of this type of scoring?

5) How did Morocco score?

6) How does Jordan compare to Morocco?
ANSWERS:

1) ONLY TWO!!!! Morocco and Jordan out of total country coverage of 40.

2) Seed, Fertilizer, Machinery, Finance, Markets, Transport (scores are from 0-100)

3) Yes, ICT, land , water and livestock. Gender and environmental sustainability are being investigated to ensure inclusive indicators.

4) Benchmarking countries; allows policymakers to identify, analyse and compare legal barriers for the business of agriculture and to quantify transaction costs of dealing with government regulations.

5) See table below; Morocco is one of the highest scoring in Seeds (congratulations) but Morocco and Jordan are very low in access to finance. In fact, in a regional context (using Morocco/Jordan), the Middle East and North Africa don't look good in this area.

6) Better in Fertilizer and worse in Machinery.

SEE CHARTS AND FIGURES BELOW AND CHECK OUT THE PUBLICATION: EBA<http://eba.worldbank.org/reports>
