Global assembly of health and agriculture ministers next week at FAO
Governments to jointly tackle new nutrition challenges of the 21st century
Deadline for advance online media accreditation Friday 14 November

How to tackle the "multiple burden" of hunger, undernutrition, micronutrient deficiencies and obesity will be the subject of high level talks at FAO during next week's 2nd International Conference on Nutrition (ICN2, 19-21 November), organized by FAO and the World Health Organization (WHO).

Representatives from more than 190 countries, UN agencies, intergovernmental organizations, members of civil society, foundations, private business and other sectors will attend. Over 100 Ministers of agriculture, health and other sectors are participating, as will Pope Francis, Queen Letizia of Spain, King Letsie III of Lesotho, Sheikh Hasina Prime Minister of Bangladesh, Melinda Gates, Jeffrey Sachs and other experts.

The deadline for advance online accreditation is midnight on Friday 14 November. Media accreditation will still be possible in person starting Monday 17 November at the ICN2 registration center at the Aranciera di San Sisto at Valle delle Camene 9/11<https://goo.gl/maps/egUUm> (across Vle. Delle Terme di Caracalla from FAO, opposite the baths).

Passes for those who accredited online will be ready for pick-up from 9:00h on the 17th (registration center hours<http://www.fao.org/about/meetings/icn2/media/requirements/badge/en/>).

For additional information on entrance to FAO and on-site work facilities for the media, plus options for following remotely, see below.
