5-6 November: The Director-General ends his West Africa tour with a trip to Togo for one-to-one meetings with President Faure Gnassingbé and other high-ranking officials. Graziano da Silva will also visit the recently launched Regional Agency for Agriculture and Food (RAAF) in Lomé, where the UN agency recently initiated two major programs funded by Spain and Germany.



6 November: Multi-partner project approved to improve management of tuna fisheries on the high seas and conserve biodiversity of related marine ecosystems and species.



7 November: semiannual release of Food Outlook, an analysis of global food commodities markets and trade, and the Food Price Index update
