Dear Mountain Partnership Members and Friends,

We invite you to attend a web dialogue highlighting youth and mountain biodiversity:

Sparking Change in Mountain Biodiversity through Youth

Monday, 19 October 2020 | 15:30-17:00 CET

Register here<https://forms.gle/QrztH7AfKy3ogPW87>

In light of this year's International Mountain Day theme, Mountain Biodiversity, a youth-led dialogue will take place discussing the relevance of mountains as biodiversity hotspots. The event will feature young people from diverse backgrounds, ranging from wildlife to forestry, to spark a conversation about the urgent need for the sustainable management of mountain biodiversity. Panelists will discuss mountain biodiversity in their unique contexts, sharing experiences, stories and innovative solutions. The event aims to forge key messages and recommendations and build a network of Youth Mountain Champions to advocate for change and join the #MountainsMatter movement.

Learn more about International Mountain Day at the official website<http://www.fao.org/international-mountain-day/en/> and kindly register for the event at the link above. Feel free to share this information with interested colleagues.

Best regards,

The Mountain Partnership Secretariat
