Dear Mountain Partnership members and friends,
We are very pleased to inform you that Mountain Partnership member Sam Kanyamibwa, Executive Director of Albertine Rift Conservation Society, will participate in The State of the World’s Forests report launch event discussing the balance between conservation goals and demands for resources on Friday 22 May at 10:00 CET. The high-level panel also includes the FAO Director-General Qu Dongyu, the UNEP Executive Director Inger Andersen, and the Ministers of Environment of Indonesia and Mauritania.
The virtual launch will also feature a short video, a presentation of the publication and its key findings and the high-level panel discussion including Sam.
