Dear Mountain Partnership members and friends,

We take this opportunity to share with you the call for nominations for the Curt Bergfors Food Planet Prize<http://www.foodplanetprize.org>.

The Food Planet Prize is the largest monetary award in the global food arena. It rewards innovative solutions that can help the world shift to sustainable food systems within a ten-year timeframe. Two prizes of USD 2 million are awarded annually.

Nominees can be individuals, groups, organizations or businesses fully committed to sustainable food or distinctly identified projects implemented by existing companies and institutions. A broad range of initiatives are welcome - they can be science-based or derived from practice, industrial or crafts-based, entrepreneurial or institutional, behavioural, or high-tech. Still, they must have the potential for broad scaling and application.

Anyone can submit a nomination, for one's own initiative or project, or somebody else's. There is no limit to the number of submissions per individual.

Finally, there is an always-open nomination process. Therefore, you can nominate promising initiatives as soon as you cross their paths, no matter the time of year.

The application process for the 2022 prize is still open<https://foodplanetprize.org/nominate/>. Simply describe how your initiative can help restore the Food Planet in 500 words.

Please feel free to spread the word about the Food Planet Prize in your networks. For more information, visit the Food Planet Prize website<http://www.foodplanetprize.org>.
