Dear Mountain Partnership members,

Greetings and a very happy new year to you all!

The Mountain Partnership Secretariat is compiling inputs for its 2021 Annual Report. As every year, we will spotlight members' achievements in promoting sustainable mountain development in 2021.

If you would like to share an achievement of a project, programme or initiative to have spotlighted in the Annual Report, please submit a brief summary outlining the main activities and results by Friday, 28 January. Each contribution should be no longer than 130 words.

Along with your written summary, please share 2-3 high-resolution photos to accompany your contribution, along with the credit and submission form of the photographer (see attached).

While we can only select a few spotlights to include in the Annual Report due to space, we will aim to have a correct geographical representation and member balance. Please note, your government or organization must have been a Mountain Partnership member in 2021 to be considered for inclusion in the report. Once we receive your inputs, we will be in contact for any further checking and editing.

As this year we are also celebrating 20 years of the Mountain Partnership, we would like to ask members to share a one-sentence reflection on: What does being part of the Mountain Partnership mean for your government/organization?

To view previous year's reports, see: 2020<https://www.fao.org/documents/card/en/c/cb5476en>, 2019<https://www.fao.org/documents/card/en/c/ca9956en>, 2018<http://www.fao.org/fileadmin/user_upload/mountain_partnership/docs/ca5654en%5b1%5d.pdf>, 2017<http://www.fao.org/fileadmin/user_upload/mountain_partnership/docs/2_2017AnnualReport.pdf> and 2016<http://www.fao.org/3/a-i7515e.pdf>.

Please send your inputs to Samantha Abear, Communications and Outreach Expert, at [log in to unmask]<mailto:[log in to unmask]>.

Best regards,

The Mountain Partnership Secretariat
