Sustainability is increasingly important for organic and non-organic businesses, but the metrics used to measure performance are diverse, ranging from improved energy efficiency (and associated reduced emissions and costs) to improving on-farm biodiversity.

In a project supported by the Ekhaga Foundation, the Organic Research Centre (UK) and the Research Institute of Organic Agriculture FiBL (CH) have had intensive discussions about how to measure the sustainability of organic farms, building on experience in developing monitoring tools, such as SAFA. A key part of the project involves identifying sustainability themes highly relevant for monitoring organic agriculture.

You could help us by completing this survey to help us identify these themes: Please visit the survey at https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/RLQQT6S

More about the project can be found at http://tinyurl.com/ORC-sustainability

Thanks!
