Dear All,
You are most warmly invited to participate in this very new discussion group which is part of a larger Earth Food Hub initiative<https://dgroups.org/fao/indi-sci-energies/>.
It's focus goes beyond the usual renewable and bioenergy concepts to develop a better understanding of all kinds of energies used in agriculture that can enhance and protect production, improve health and nurture the environment, from social and economic to the bio-physical and spiritual environment.
To join please click here<https://dgroups.org/fao/indi-sci-energies/join>. To make any contributions you can also go directly to the web page and register: web site<https://dgroups.org/fao/indi-sci-energies/>
Looking forward to your contributions
Rainer
Please feel encouraged to invite friends and colleagues who can contribute!!!
The purpose of the discussion group is to share our experiences, data, publications and opinions about energy use in agriculture, from physical and physiological energies to organizational and more subtle energies. This is not exclusively, but with a major emphasis on the use of subtle energies, forces and rituals; other alternative concepts and energy related reflections are also welcome.
The reason for discussing this topic is:
- to increase understanding (research) and use (applications) of those collaborative, life-enhancing methods that are most effective in their context;
- to stimulate experimentation that builds synergies with nature or life which create the coherence necessary for healthy growth and evolution (and abundance) across the whole food chain and in the different cultures of this world.
- to bring about rapid and fundamental shift in the whole food chain towards wider coherent collaboration with and benefits to all contributors.
The forum is directed at practitioners, be they farmers, researchers, advisors, decision makers or other knowledge holders from any discipline and culture. This forum is part of a larger project and vision, the Pacha Mama or Earth Food Hub and also accompanying specific events and experimental evolution and understanding of the various energy uses.
A few short background documents are available, after login, to better understand this novel frame and widened energy concept. The term "energy" is here understood as referring to both biological, chemical or physical energies and the more subtle energies of body, mind, emotions, spirit and natural entities recognized by traditional and indigenous cultures.
You are warmly invited to submit your thoughts, observations, questions and experiences, and especially experimental documentation.
