This morning I saw the link on the Have Your Say section of the intranet logon page, posted by Paola Franceschelli.

It's beautiful to see official attention to this knowledge and wisdom and also to see it confronted with the narrow objectives of the industrial 'world'and its resulting control psychosis.

My personal feeling is that we need to marry these two worlds, a simple partnership will not do; yet, these very unequal and different newlyweds will need much tender loving care, wisdom, coaching and concrete support, to create at least mutual respect, then some understanding and hopefully a spirit of collaboration so that the marriage can work out and that its children - our common future and that of the world around us - have a safe and nurturing place to grow up in, i.e. a home. The way this partnership is going right now they hardly ever talk or even look at each other; the chance for any children and then for them to grow up in a happy healthy environment seem very slim.

Let's see whether we can go beyond these very basic communication attempts which this movie represents and maybe arrange even for a date? Agriculture is a perfect meeting ground :)

Enjoy and think how else we can improve gentle and kind dialogue between these two worlds.
